Employment

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of the following pre-employment requirements:

  • 10-Panel Drug Screening
    Although the State of Arizona has legalized recreational marijuana, marijuana remains illegal under U.S. federal law and is classified as a Schedule I substance under the Controlled Substances Act. Templar Protective Services complies with all applicable federal laws.
    Additionally, the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) states that individuals who use medical marijuana are ineligible for licensure as armed security guards; however, they may be eligible for unarmed security positions.
