Paul Hete has had an exceptional military and civilian career. After graduating from Billings West High School in 1985 he would join the United States Marine Corps and his chosen MOS ( Military Occupational Specialty) would be 0311 Infantry as he would always say “why else would you join the Corps” after graduating Boot Camp-Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego, CA in the summer of 1985 he would be assigned to Camp Geiger, NC for his Infantry Training School (ITS) after completing training he would finally be assigned to 2nd Marine Division, 3rd Battalion 2nd Marine Division Kilo company 1st Platoon Camp Lejeune, NC. After countless training tours to Okinawa, Japan, Korea, Philippines and state side training East and West coast, he would then re-enlist in 1989 and was reassigned to the 1st Marine Division, 2nd Battalion 7th Marines Golf company 1st Platoon Camp Pendleton, CA, eventually the 2/7 would be reassigned to 29 Palms, CA Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC). While conducting training his unit learned that Saddam Hussein had invaded Kuwait and the 2/7 would be deployed a week later after the invasion, he would stay there until all units departed and earn other medals to include the Combat Action Ribbon, Paul would leave the service in 1993.
After being Honorably Discharged Paul would work with his father in the family roofing and construction business and then eventually leave and work at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility in Billings, MT then start his career in corrections and the security field in Arizona, Paul would eventually work for many security companies and gain helpful insight into the business practices and realize that he could do better.
Paul received his associate and bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice with a Diploma in wildlife conservation and forestry, from Penn Foster College. But the education did not stop there Paul would receive online course from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Institute).
In 2004 Paul would leave TSA after 3 years to work for Blackwater based in Moyock, NC after completing training in 2004 he would be sent to Iraq to conduct security operations and after returning in 2005 would seek other opportunities, when Hurricane Katrina hit the Southern United States in 2005 Paul would find himself again working security for Blackwater providing security to FEMA employees.
In 2018 Paul applied to the Arizona Department of Public Safety for his Private Security Guard Agency License and was approved since then he has worked tirelessly on his company known as the Templar Protective Services Corporation.
